Little Blue Society

Human-Animal Conflict Resolution

HUMAN-ANIMAL CONFLICT CONSULTANTS

Little Blue Society was founded in 1999 by Mary Paglieri, who coined the phrase "Human-Animal Conflict," (HAC) and "Human-Animal Conflict Resolution."  It was first presented at the San Mateo County Coyote Forum in 1999. Since the inception of Little Blue Society, "Human-Animal Conflict Resolution," has been further developed as a tool and technique to create a just and balanced coexistence between people and wildlife.

The phrase and philosophy, has since been adopted by many organizations and renowned scientists throughout the world.  It has become the recognized standard for resolving conflicts with wildlife over shared use of geographical areas and resources.
